The demand for this oil has increased over the past several decades, due to many food items, and cosmetic products containing palm oil. Here at Earth Grown Soap Co. we choose to use goat milk in are Simply Earth soap bar because its higher in moisturizing fats and more nourishing than any other milk. High in probiotics and contains vitamin A and D, helping to encourage normal skin flora. Goat milk promotes collagen production along with helping heal stressed/damaged skin. Goats milk also has the same pH has human skin and is considered Hypoallergenic for skincare.
The Goat Milk that we use is locally sourced from Erinwood Farms. This is a small batch Goat Milk supplier. The goats that belong to Erinwood farms live on grass fed pasture, and are fed a nutrient rich diet. They are handled with love, care and compassion…..It truly shows in the milk they produce!

Honey is a natural humectant with enzymes that help deeply moisturize the skin. Our Raw Wildflower Honey is also locally sourced and produced in small batches. Wildflower Honey is much darker in appearance, and is produced from polyflower pollination. Raw Wildflower Honey contains enzymes that can promote wound healing when applied topically. Created by high heat applied to charcoal to make a black porous, highly absorbent powder. Activated Charcoal, also known as activated carbon is well studied and has become very popular in skincare for a number of reasons. Other than its oil absorbing properties, AC can also help improve skin texture by gently exfoliating away dirt and impurities. As a natural antioxidant, ROE has the ability to rapidly dissolve in and stabilize various oils and butters. Distilled Water:
Distilled water only contains Hydrogen and Oxygen through a purifying process called steam distillation. This process removes minerals such as magnesium, calcium, sodium, along with any contaminants and pathogens. Distilled water enhances the efficacy of the final product by enabling the active ingredients to blend easily and ensuring they are fully utilized. Emulsifying Wax:

Kaolin Clay:
Made up of a mineral called kaolinite found all over the earth. kaolin has a pH that matches the pH of human skin, which is why it is so commonly used in skincare products. Kaolin clay is soft and one of the most gentle out of all the clays. Kaolin clay is added to Earth Grown Soap, giving it a smooth creamy lather that leaves the skin feeling soft and nourished.

Optiphen:
A paraben-free and formaldehyde-free natural preservative that is widely used in cosmetic formulations. Optiphen is known for its broad-spectrum protection against mold, yeast, and bacteria and is added for the safety of the consumer. Even when this ingredient is used as a preservative it also imparts a smooth feel to the final product.

Sodium Hydroxide:
An inorganic compound also known as lye or caustic soda, with the formula NaOH. This alkali additive is what transforms fatty acids into soap in a process called saponification. During this process, the lye breaks down the triglyceride molecules into soap and glycerin.
