WHAT IS PINE TAR?
Pine tar is a sticky, sappy like substance produced by the high temperature carbonization of pine wood. The wood is quickly broken down by applying heat and pressure. once completely decomposed the result is pine tar.
Just keep in mind that pine tar has a smokey tar like smell. some people love it and some people don't care for it.
HISTORY OF PINE TAR SOAP.
Pine Tar soap has a long history for helping with various skin conditions and has been used medicinally for over 2000 years. Skin conditions that people use pine tar soap for are eczema, psoriasis, dry itchy skin , to sooth bug bites and also sunburn. Along side our special pine tar we add ground oats, and pumice sand for added exfoliation. And let's not forget the other star of the show, Activated charcoal....aiding in skin detox. We infuse our pine tar soap with shea butter, and cocoa butter. This will leave your skin feeling smooth and hydrated.
